I usually go home (from Santa Barbara to LA) every week, so this is just the extra $$ I had to pay to take an earlier train.

For the first time in a REALLY long time, I’m looking forward to Christmas because:
1. I get to be home and I don’t have to deal with shitty school work.
2. hot chocolate + Netflix = awesome
3. Parenthetical Girls’ Christmas album/EP
4. Julian’s Christmas single
5. I don’t have to go out! I can stay home all day and just do nothing. that might seem really sad/lame, but I truly despise having to deal with people. the only time I put it up with it is when I go to concerts because I love music more than I hate people.
6. FOOOD, sooo much food. my mom always makes turkey and ham and mashed potatoes and sometimes even Salvadorian tamales! <3
7. walking around in those giant fluffy socks all day long

A new project and a new EP under the name Volcan Flamingo This supergroup features Zach Condon of Beirut, Tim Kingsbury of Arcade Fire, Julian Koster of Neutral Milk Hotel and well… Me, Josh of Bark Cat Bark.
We are recording an EP released by the very own 4AD Records over in Belgium ready for August 2010. I know this is a long time from now but stay patient!
